We are heading back to the 80 degree mark today as the weather pattern is finally changing...as we have been forecasting all week. But we will have one more afternoon with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. High pressure will start building back into the area later this evening. More sunshine is on the way tomorrow with temperatures above the 80 degree mark.
The weekend outlook is for the warming trend to continue. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny and temperatures will reach the upper 80s on Saturday and near 90 degrees on Sunday. By Sunday, humidity levels will be on the rise once again and it will feel like summer once again.
The mid-Atlantic beaches will be sunny this weekend with highs around 80 degrees.
